Description

A day in the countryside turns a quiet farm into a surprisingly busy battlefield. You play a farmer trying to keep his fields in order while a parade of mischievous and downright spiteful animals does everything it can to ruin his work. Moles pop out of the ground, blackbirds swoop in carrying bombs, and when winter rolls around even the snowmen need rescuing from incoming snowballs. It is charming, chaotic, and much harder than it first looks.

Moving your farmer is simple. Use the arrow keys on a keyboard, or click and hold to the left or right of the character on a touchscreen. Interacting with the animals is just as direct: click or tap on a creature and something will happen. Grab the moles and send them back to sleep before they wreck the crops, and snatch the bomb-carrying blackbirds to send them away before they drop their payload. Feeding the cute, friendly animals earns you an extra life, so do not chase everything off without thinking. A mouse wheel zoom lets you pull the camera in or out to keep track of the whole field.

The game changes with the seasons, and winter brings its own twist. The ground gets slippery, your farmer can jump by clicking or tapping the screen, and snowballs start flying at helpless snowmen that you need to protect. Each season demands a slightly different rhythm, which keeps the loop from going stale.

The best habit to build early is prioritizing threats. Bombs beat moles, and moles beat decoration. Keep an eye on the edges of the screen where trouble spawns, and zoom out whenever you feel overwhelmed so nothing sneaks past you. Save your extra lives by feeding friendly animals whenever the coast is clear.

This one suits players who enjoy lighthearted arcade games with a cozy look and a mean streak. It runs free in your browser on desktop or mobile, so it works just as well for a quick break as for a long high-score chase.
