AirSpace2
Description
AirSpace2 is a lean arcade flying game with a strategy flavor, built around one tense idea: threading your ship through a field of drifting asteroids without smashing it to pieces. Every rock you slip past keeps the run alive, and every blue sphere you scoop up adds to your score, so you are constantly weighing risk against reward.
The controls are deliberately simple. Steer your ship with the arrow keys or by dragging on a touchscreen, easing it left, right, up and down to find gaps in the asteroid field. Blue spheres appear along the way, often parked in awkward spots between rocks, and collecting them is how your score climbs.
The challenge ramps up the longer you survive. Asteroids come thicker and faster, the safe corridors between them narrow, and the tempting spheres start showing up in positions that force you to commit to dangerous lines. A single collision ends the run, so every decision about whether a pickup is worth the detour matters more as the speed builds.
Smart pilots learn a few tricks quickly. Keep your ship near the center of the screen so you have room to dodge in any direction, and scan ahead instead of staring at your own hull. Skip spheres that sit behind dense clusters of rock, because a greedy grab that kills the run costs you far more points than the pickup was worth. Small, smooth steering corrections beat panicked swerves every time.
Fans of reflex dodgers and score-chasing arcade games will feel right at home here, and the quick restart loop makes it easy to chase one more run. It costs nothing to play and runs straight in the browser on both desktop and mobile devices.
