Description

Alien Shooter drops you into a heavy armored suit and hands you one job: hold the line against wave after wave of alien attackers and see the human race through to the end of the story. It is a classic arcade shooter at heart, built around the simple pleasure of pointing at something hostile and pulling the trigger, but underneath that simplicity there is a light layer of strategy that keeps each mission from feeling like a pure shooting gallery.

Getting started is easy. You move your character through the level, aim at the incoming hordes, and fire; on a computer that usually means steering with the keyboard while aiming and shooting with the mouse, and on a touchscreen you tap or drag to line up your shots. Between and during missions you will want to invest in weapon upgrades, because the enemies keep coming in greater numbers and your starting gun will not carry you very far. The single most important habit to build early is upgrading your weapon as soon as you can afford it. A powerful gun turns overwhelming crowds into manageable ones, and falling behind on firepower is the most common way a run falls apart.

As you push through the mission list, the tasks grow from simple clear-outs into tougher survival fights where positioning matters as much as accuracy. Learn to keep moving, funnel enemies into narrow approaches, and never let yourself get surrounded. Grabbing a better gun early is worth more than almost anything else you can do with your resources.

Fans of old-school arcade action who like the idea of mowing down alien swarms without a steep learning curve will feel right at home here. It is free to play in the browser on both desktop and mobile, so it works just as well for a quick mission on your phone as for a longer session at your desk.
