Among at Easter
Description
A spaceship full of hardworking crewmates sounds peaceful until you remember that one of them is quietly planning to kill everyone else. Among at Easter drops you into that classic social deduction formula, dressed up with a festive theme, where trust is the first casualty of every match.
Matches run online or over local WiFi with four to ten players, and everyone is secretly assigned one of two roles. Crewmates spend the round running around the ship completing small tasks to prepare it for departure, while watching their backs for anything suspicious. The Impostor has no tasks at all; the job is to blend in, fake a little work, and eliminate crewmates one by one without getting caught. Crewmates win by finishing every task or by voting the Impostor off the ship, while the Impostor wins by thinning the crew until nobody is left to object.
What makes the game tick is the meeting phase. When a body is found or someone calls an emergency meeting, everyone stops to argue, accuse, and defend themselves before casting a vote. The Impostor also has sabotage tools that break ship systems, forcing crewmates to scramble for repairs and creating perfect cover for a kill or a convincing alibi. Every round becomes a small drama of half-truths and bold accusations.
A few habits separate good players from voted-off players. As a crewmate, travel in pairs when you can and remember who you saw where, because solid testimony wins votes. As the Impostor, sabotage before you strike, kill in empty corners, and never act nervous in chat. Confidence is the best disguise in the game.
Among at Easter is ideal for groups of friends who enjoy talking, bluffing, and laughing at each other's terrible detective work. Whether you are the honest worker or the smiling traitor, every match tells a different story, and that is what keeps people coming back.
