Among Yetto Bots
Description
Among Yetto Bots is a compact 2D sci-fi platformer with a clear mission on every stage: collect all the golden balls scattered around the level, then reach the exit door to move on. Standing between you and that door is a small army of enemy bots, flying bots firing bullets from above, and spike traps laid in exactly the spots you want to land. Eight levels await, and each one tightens the screws a little more than the last.
Controls follow the genre's trusted layout. You move with the WASD keys or the arrow keys, and pressing W or the Up arrow twice in a row triggers a double jump. That second jump is the tool that defines the whole game, letting you clear wide spike beds, reach high platforms holding stray golden balls, and dodge a bullet at the last instant. Learning its exact height and timing is the first skill every player should practice.
Early levels introduce the threats one at a time so you can learn their patterns. Ground bots patrol fixed routes, flying bots track you and open fire, and spikes simply punish sloppy landings. By the later stages, all three are layered together, and grabbing that final golden ball tucked behind a patrol line feels like a genuine accomplishment.
A few tips from the school of hard knocks: never rush a jump when a flying bot is active, since its bullets punish panic. Watch a patrol's full loop before committing to a route. Save your double jump's second press for corrections mid-air rather than spending it immediately, because that flexibility saves more runs than raw speed ever will.
Platformer fans who like tight, obstacle-dense levels in the style of classic collect-and-escape games will enjoy this. It's short, sharp, and satisfying to finish.
