Basketball Master 2
Description
Scoring a basket is easy when nobody is in the way, and Basketball Master 2 makes absolutely sure somebody always is. This is a physics puzzle game dressed up as a sport, across forty levels of increasingly devious court designs where simply throwing the ball at the hoop is never the whole answer.
The goal on every level is the same: put the ball through the hoop. How you get there changes constantly. You aim and launch the ball, then let gravity, bounces, and momentum do the rest. Standing between you and two points are solid obstacles that block your path, defending players who get in the way, and panes of glass and sheets of wood that must be smashed through before the ball can continue its flight. Reading the layout before you shoot is half the game.
The forty levels are arranged as a steady climb. Early stages teach you the basics of banking shots off walls and using gentle arcs, while later ones stack obstacles into genuine brainteasers where the ball might need to break a barrier, ricochet off a backboard, and drop through the net in one continuous motion. The physics are consistent enough that a failed attempt teaches you something about the next one.
A few habits separate frustration from progress. Study the level before your first throw and trace the intended path in your head. When glass or wood is involved, commit to enough power to break through cleanly, because a weak shot that dies against a barrier teaches you nothing. And do not be afraid of the walls: many levels are designed around rebounds, and a hard bounce off a solid surface is often the only legal route past a defender.
Basketball Master 2 fits players who like their sports games with a puzzle brain. Each level is a self-contained challenge that takes seconds to attempt and real thought to solve, which makes it dangerously easy to tell yourself you will stop after just one more hoop.
