Color Runner
Description
Color Runner drops you into the shoes of a stylized stick figure sprinting down an endless corridor of colored cubes, and the only rule that matters is color. Your runner can pass safely through a cube only when he matches it; hit a block of the wrong color and the run ends on the spot. It is a one-more-try arcade game where survival is measured in seconds and every meter counts.
The setup is deliberately minimal so you can react instead of think. Your character runs forward on his own, and you use quick taps, clicks, or the arrow keys to shift and adjust so the color you carry lines up with the cube in front of you. The whole game runs in a browser window on desktop or mobile, and a round takes seconds to start, which makes it dangerously easy to retry after every crash.
Difficulty ramps the longer you survive. At the beginning the cubes come at a relaxed pace and the color changes are gentle, giving you time to find the rhythm. Before long the corridor speeds up, the colors switch more frequently, and sequences arrive where you have to adjust two or three times in quick succession. Most runs end not because a single obstacle was unfair, but because the pace finally outruns your reactions.
The single most useful habit is to look ahead, not at your runner. Read the next two or three cubes and prepare the sequence in your head instead of reacting to the one directly in front of you. Staying calm after a near miss matters too, since panic tapping is what turns a recoverable moment into a crash. Short, focused sessions tend to produce better scores than long grinding ones.
