Description
Crowd Enhance drops you in charge of a small squad of armed infantry and asks a simple thing of you: grow your crowd, smash through everything in your path, and reach the end of each level with as many soldiers standing as possible. It is a casual arcade runner with a satisfying sense of escalating power.
The core loop is immediately graspable. Your squad advances along a course filled with obstacles, gates, and enemy hordes, and you steer the group left and right to pick the best route. Pass through favorable gates to multiply or reinforce your numbers, scoop up extra recruits scattered along the track, and avoid the traps that whittle your crowd down. When enemy forces block the way, your soldiers open fire automatically, and the side with superior numbers and firepower wins the clash. Reach the finish and you clear the level.
Across the many levels ahead, the game keeps layering on new complications. Barricades, moving hazards, and dense enemy packs force you to make quick route decisions, while later stages demand that you arrive at the big fights with a genuinely large army or get wiped out. The difficulty curve is well judged: early levels teach you the rhythms, and by the time the hordes get serious you have already developed the instincts to handle them. Watching a tiny squad snowball into an unstoppable mob is the game's central pleasure, and it never really gets old.
Smart routing matters more than raw speed. Always calculate which gate offers the bigger gain before you reach it, and do not chase every pickup if it means walking through a hazard that costs more soldiers than it adds. When a fight looks unwinnable from your current size, look for a side path that lets you bulk up first. Preserving even a handful of extra troops before a horde encounter often decides the level.
