Description

Cut the Rope Experiments brings back Om Nom, the little green monster whose entire personality is built around wanting candy, and pairs him with the Professor, a mad but well-meaning scientist who has decided to study that candy obsession through a long series of experiments. The result is a fresh laboratory-themed chapter of the beloved physics puzzle series, with around 200 levels of rope-cutting, candy-swinging problem solving.

The core mechanic is unchanged and still brilliant. A piece of candy dangles from ropes, and you swipe or drag across a rope to cut it, letting gravity, momentum, and the level's gadgets carry the candy toward Om Nom's open mouth. The mouse on desktop or your finger on mobile handles everything, and timing your cuts is just as important as choosing them. Along the way, each level hides stars to collect, and grabbing them on the candy's path is what separates a passing grade from a perfect one.

The Professor's experiments frame the progression. New contraptions and behaviors are introduced gradually, each chapter adding a twist that forces you to rethink familiar setups. Early levels teach the basics of pendulum swings and simultaneous cuts, while later ones demand multi-step sequences where one premature snip ruins the whole chain. Difficulty climbs smoothly, and the star system gives skilled players a reason to revisit solved stages.

Tips that actually help: before cutting anything, trace the candy's likely path in your head and decide the full order of cuts. Momentum is your friend, so often the right play is letting the candy swing to the far edge of its arc before releasing it. If a level keeps failing, try changing the timing rather than the plan, and remember that collecting stars sometimes requires a different route than simply feeding Om Nom.

This is an easy recommendation for puzzle lovers of all ages, especially anyone who grew up on the original. It plays free in the browser, no download needed.
