Espada de Sheris
Description
Espada de Sheris is an indie 2D platformer with a parkour streak, starring Kibo, a ninja cat armed with the legendary sword that gives the game its name. The world has gone to ruin after an alien invasion from the year 4000, and it falls to this small, agile cat to cut through the masked duzkers standing in his way across a series of story chapters.
The controls keep things tight and readable. Press A and D to move left and right, W to jump, and Enter to attack or confirm. That simplicity feeds the parkour feel: you chain jumps across rooftops and platforms, close the distance on an enemy, and strike with the sword without ever fumbling over a complicated button layout.
Progress moves forward chapter by chapter, with the post-apocalyptic setting shifting as the story of the alien threat unfolds. Each new stretch asks a bit more of your platforming, mixing longer jump sequences with enemies placed to interrupt your flow, so you are constantly balancing speed against caution.
A few habits carry you far here. Keep moving, because Kibo's momentum is his best defense; standing still in front of a duzker is how runs end. Attack early as you land near an enemy rather than waiting to line up the perfect strike, and scout each new screen from a safe ledge before committing to a jump sequence. When a section mixes enemies with tricky platforms, clear the enemies first, then take the jumps at your own pace.
Fans of indie platformers, speedrun-friendly level design and quirky premises will get the most out of it. A sword-wielding ninja cat fighting masked invaders in a ruined future is exactly the kind of odd, earnest concept that makes small games memorable, and the parkour movement gives it a satisfying rhythm once you settle in.
