Description
Flow Mania is a puzzle game with rules you can learn in ten seconds and boards that will keep you thinking far longer. On each grid sit pairs of colored dots, and your task is to connect every matching pair with a pipe. Two conditions turn that simple idea into a genuine puzzle: the pipes cannot cross or overlap, and by the end every single square of the board must be covered. One misplaced line early on can make the whole grid impossible, which is where the addiction comes from.
Playing is pure drag and drop. Click or tap a dot, drag your finger or cursor to its matching partner, and the pipe fills in behind you as you go. Made a bad path? Just drag over it again or backtrack to undo it, and the pipe retracts. There are no timers breathing down your neck in the early going, so the game rewards sitting back and reasoning your way through a board rather than rushing.
Progression comes through board size and density. The first grids are small with just a handful of colors, and most players solve them almost by feel. As the boards grow and the dot count climbs, the puzzle shifts: now you must plan which color hugs the edges, which one snakes through the middle, and in what order to draw so you do not wall yourself off. Later levels can take several genuine attempts, and finishing a dense board with full coverage feels like a small victory of logic.
The most useful technique is to think about parity and space rather than drawing greedily. Connect the pairs with the fewest routing options first, keep long pipes along the borders, and remember the full-coverage rule often forces detours that look inefficient but are actually required.
