Description

Flying Duck is a minimalist one-touch flying game where a small duck flaps its way through a hazardous sky and your only job is keeping it alive. The rules take three seconds to explain: tap or click to make the duck gain height, stop tapping and it sinks, and touch any of the black enemies drifting across your path and the run is over. Distance is the score, and survival is everything.

The single input hides a real skill curve. Every tap gives a short burst of lift, so altitude control is really about rhythm rather than speed. Tapping in a steady, even pattern keeps the duck on a level line, while panicked bursts send it bouncing between the top and bottom of the screen where the enemies are thickest. It plays instantly in any browser on desktop or mobile, which makes it perfect for quick attempts.

The longer you fly, the busier the sky gets. Black enemies appear in growing numbers and in trickier arrangements, forcing you to thread gaps instead of cruising in open air. Because the enemies are the only threat and the controls never change, improvement is easy to feel: runs that ended after a few seconds start stretching into satisfying flights as your timing settles in.

The best advice is to fly in the middle of the screen whenever you can, since hugging the top or bottom leaves you no room to correct when an enemy appears. Tap earlier than feels necessary, because the duck responds with a slight delay, and aim for the center of each gap rather than skimming the edges. After a crash, resist the urge to immediately retry angry; a calm restart almost always beats a tilted one.

Fans of flappy-style tap games who want a clean, no-frills version will be right at home. It is the kind of game you open for a minute and close twenty attempts later.
