Forest Ranger Adventure
Description
Forest Ranger Adventure is a classic 2D platformer built around a ranger making his way through the woods, one hazardous stage at a time. The goal in each level is refreshingly old-school: collect the coins scattered along the path, grab the diamond waiting somewhere in the stage and reach the exit to unlock the next level. It is simple to understand in seconds, but finishing every stage cleanly takes genuine care.
Controls follow the standard platformer setup. Use the arrow keys or WASD to run left and right and to jump over gaps, spikes and whatever else the forest throws at you. On touch devices, on-screen controls handle the same movement. The ranger's jump arc is the heart of the game, and learning exactly how far and how high he travels is the first skill worth practicing.
Progression moves through a series of levels that steadily raise the stakes. Early stages give you wide platforms and forgiving coin placement, while later ones tuck the diamond behind trickier jumps and line the safe route with hazards. Because the diamond is required to advance, you cannot simply sprint past everything to the exit, and that forces a pleasant balance between speed and exploration.
A few habits will carry you far. Scout each level before committing to risky jumps, since the diamond is often placed where a careless run will miss it. Collect coins on a deliberate path rather than zigzagging, because unnecessary movement near hazards is how most runs end. When a jump looks tight, walk to the very edge of the platform first to squeeze out maximum distance. If a section keeps defeating you, slow down completely and treat it as a timing puzzle instead of a race.
This is a great pick for players who grew up on side-scrolling platformers, or for younger gamers looking for something friendly and readable. It runs straight in the browser with no download, so the forest is always one click away.
