Description

A hungry frog, a garden full of bees, and a tongue with serious range. Green Battle stars Handit, a frog with a bottomless appetite, and your job is to keep him fed by snatching bees out of the air before hunger and the clock get the better of him.

Movement is handled with the arrow keys and the tongue attack with the spacebar, while on mobile or with a mouse you can tap or click to strike. The goal is simple to state and tricky to sustain: eat as many bees as you can, and do it fast. The catch is that not everything buzzing around is food. Hornets and other small enemies share the screen, and going after the wrong target or letting them get too close costs you dearly.

The scoring pressure comes from two directions at once. You are fighting time, so slow, cautious play starves your score, but you are also fighting accuracy, because wild tongue shots at hornet-heavy swarms end runs quickly. As a session goes on the screen gets busier, targets weave among threats, and the gap between a safe meal and a painful mistake shrinks to almost nothing.

Veterans of this kind of target shooter know the tricks. Lead your shots slightly, since bees keep moving while your tongue travels. Pick off isolated bees on the edges first to build a rhythm before diving into the crowded middle where hornets patrol. And watch enemy movement patterns for a second before committing; the game rewards one patient read more than three greedy jabs.

Green Battle suits younger players and anyone who likes quick, cartoon-flavored reaction games with a clear score to beat. It is easy to pick up in a single round, and just punishing enough to make you immediately want another.
