Description

Hand Doctor puts you in charge of a friendly little clinic where patients arrive with all kinds of hand injuries, and it is your job to patch them up. Each of the six different characters comes in with their own problem, from nasty cuts and bruises to broken bones, and you work through the treatment step by step like a real doctor would. It is playful rather than graphic, so the whole thing stays friendly and appropriate for kids.

The controls are simple click and drag, which makes the game easy for young players to handle on their own. A tool appears on screen, you pick it up and move it to the right spot on the patient's hand, and the game shows you whether you have done it correctly. You might clean a wound, apply a plaster over stitches, or use the x-ray machine to find a broken bone before fixing it, and each treatment has its own small sequence to follow.

Progression is based on working through the roster of patients rather than a single escalating level. Finishing one character's treatment unlocks the satisfaction of a healed hand and moves you on to the next patient, who will usually need a different combination of tools. The cool background music and colorful HD graphics keep the clinic feeling cheerful the whole way through, so repeating treatments never feels like a chore.

There is not much you can do wrong, but a little attention goes a long way. Follow the on-screen order of tools rather than grabbing them at random, since some wounds need cleaning before they can be bandaged. When the x-ray screen appears, look carefully at every finger, because it is easy to miss a small fracture tucked near a knuckle. Drag slowly and precisely and the tools will snap into place more reliably.

Hand Doctor is a great pick for kids who are curious about doctors or who enjoy caretaking games with clear, guided steps. It runs right in the browser on desktop and mobile, so it works nicely as a quick, wholesome distraction wherever you are.
