Description
Helle Bot is a 2D sci-fi platformer about a small robot on a jewel hunt through hostile territory. Eight levels of metallic corridors and hazard-filled chambers stand between you and the end, each one asking the same thing: collect the precious red jewels, survive everything the facility throws at you, and reach the exit door.
Controls follow the genre standard. Move with the WASD or arrow keys, jump with W or Up, and press the jump key a second time in mid-air to double jump. That double jump is your lifeline, letting you clear wide gaps, climb to high platforms, and make last-second saves over hazards. Learning its rhythm early makes every later level more manageable.
The opposition is busier than your average platformer. Enemy bots patrol the floors while flying bots hover overhead and shoot bullets, and the environment itself is armed with fire traps and spike pits. Red jewels are placed to tempt you into risky spots, so grabbing them all means threading between patrols, timing your way past flames, and dodging shots mid-jump before you slip through the exit.
Difficulty builds steadily across the eight stages. Opening levels introduce one hazard at a time, but later ones layer them together — a flying bot firing down over a spike strip, with a jewel floating in the middle. Survival comes from observation: watch how enemies move and when flames cycle before committing to a jump. Keep your double jump in reserve rather than burning it immediately, because that second hop is what saves a mistimed leap.
