Hunters and Props
Description
Hunters and Props is a multiplayer game of hide and seek with guns, played in first person. Every match splits the players into two teams. One side becomes hunters, armed and searching the map. The other side becomes props, ordinary objects scattered through the environment, and their only weapons are patience, cunning, and a convincing disguise. Hunt or be hunted is not just a slogan here; it is the whole game.
Playing as the hunter is the more straightforward role. You roam the map in first person, scanning rooms for anything that looks slightly wrong, and shooting objects you suspect are actually players in disguise. The catch is that accuracy matters, so spraying bullets at every chair in sight will not get you far. You have to develop an eye for details: the lamp sitting at an odd angle, the box that was not there a minute ago.
Playing as a prop is the trickier, sneakier half of the experience. You pick an object, place yourself somewhere believable, and then commit completely to the act. The old saying that the best way to hide a tree is in a forest is the core strategy: a chair belongs among other chairs, not alone in the middle of a hallway. As the round wears on and hunters grow suspicious, knowing when to stay frozen and when to make a run for it becomes its own art.
For hunters, the winning habit is learning the maps. Once you know what a room normally contains, disguised players stand out immediately, and you can check memory against what your eyes report. For props, move only when you are sure nobody is watching, and never pick a spot just because it is clever if it breaks the logic of the room.
Fans of social deception games and casual shooters will both find something to love here, and rounds are short enough to swap roles and try both sides. It runs free in the browser, so getting a group of friends into a match takes minutes.
