Description
Keyton is a 2D sci-fi platformer with a clean, focused mission: find the key cards, unlock the door, and get out alive. Each of its eight levels is a compact gauntlet of enemy robots and spike traps, and the exit stays stubbornly locked until you have tracked down every card hidden in the stage. The setup is simple to grasp, but the combination of searching and surviving gives it a nice tension.
Movement uses either the WASD keys or the arrow keys, whichever feels more natural, and pressing W or the up arrow twice performs a double jump. That double jump is your most important tool. It lets you clear spike pits that are too wide for a single leap, reach high platforms where cards tend to hide, and hop over patrolling robots when there is no room to go around. Since the robots cannot be reasoned with, your options are timing, spacing, and airtime.
The eight levels build on each other steadily. Early stages introduce one idea at a time, a few spikes here, a lone robot there, while later levels layer them together and hide the key cards in spots that demand a confident double jump or a risky detour. The difficulty curve is noticeable but fair, and finishing a level always comes down to execution rather than luck.
Tips that actually help: clear the level mentally before you move, spotting where the cards sit and planning a route that collects them without backtracking through danger. Save your double jump for corrections instead of burning it on every hop, and treat robots as moving hazards with rhythms you can learn. If a card looks unreachable, there is almost always a jump sequence that reaches it; look for intermediate platforms.
