Knives
Description
One knife, one spinning target, and absolutely zero room for error. Knives distills arcade tension down to a single tap: hurl your blade into the rotating surface without hitting any knife already stuck in it, because one collision ends everything.
The rules are instantly clear. A wooden disc spins in front of you, changing direction and speed as it turns, and each tap of the screen throws one knife straight at it. Stick every knife from your set into the target without touching the blades already embedded there and you clear the stage. Hit another knife and the run is over, simple as that. The only score that matters is how far you get before your nerve gives out.
The difficulty creeps up in a satisfying way. Early targets rotate slowly and evenly, giving you generous gaps to aim at. Before long the disc starts switching direction mid-spin, accelerating without warning, and carrying more pre-placed knives that shrink your landing zones. Stages with fruit or special objects on the target add small bonus opportunities for players brave enough to aim for them. Pushing your personal record becomes the real game, and each new best feels earned.
Survival comes down to rhythm and restraint. Watch the rotation for a couple of full turns before throwing, and learn to feel the pattern instead of reacting to the visual. The biggest killer is panic tapping near the end of a stage when the gaps get tight. Throwing slightly early is almost always safer than throwing late, and skipping a tempting bonus is smarter than ending a great run over one apple.
This is pure arcade comfort food for score chasers and fans of one-tap timing games. Short runs, instant retries, and a personal record that always looks beatable.
