Description

There is a red line on the ground, and nothing with armor gets past it. Line of Defense 2 is a hold-the-line shooting game where waves of enemy tanks roll toward your border and your gun is the only thing keeping the invasion from succeeding.

You take a fixed defensive position and open fire on the approaching armor. Aim, shoot, and prioritize, because the tanks keep coming and every one that slips through and crosses the red border line costs you. The moment-to-moment play is pure arcade shooting: track the lead vehicle, land your shots, and swing to the next target before the column closes the distance. Let too many enemies through and the defense collapses.

The pressure builds steadily across the waves. The first tanks arrive slowly enough that you can pick them off at leisure, but later assaults send thicker formations at greater speed, and tougher vehicles soak up more hits before they burn. Success stops being about accuracy alone and becomes about triage, deciding which tank dies first when three are bearing down on the line at once. Each wave survived feels like a small military victory.

Smart defenders shoot the closest threat rather than the biggest one. A heavy tank far from the border is a future problem, while a light tank two seconds from the line is a right-now problem, and confusing the two is how defenses fall. Learn the rate of fire of your weapon and avoid panic-clicking, because controlled, aimed shots destroy tanks faster than a spray of misses. When a wave ends, use the breather to scan the field and plan the order of targets for the next push.

Line of Defense 2 will appeal to fans of base-defense and gallery shooters who enjoy clean, escalating tension without complicated systems to learn. It takes one rule, do not let them cross, and stretches it into a surprisingly gripping test of aim and judgment, one burning tank at a time.
