Mask Buddy Run
Description
Mask Buddy Run is a cheerful little pixel art endless runner in the spirit of that famous offline dinosaur game you play when the internet drops. A tiny masked hero sprints across the screen on his own, and your only job is to keep him alive for as long as possible while the world throws obstacles in his path. It is simple, charming, and far more addictive than it first looks.
The controls could not be easier. On a keyboard you use the arrow keys to jump over incoming hazards, and on a phone or tablet you just tap the screen. The character runs forward automatically, so everything comes down to timing. Press too early and you will land right on top of the next obstacle; press too late and the run ends on the spot. Every obstacle you clear nudges your score higher.
Like any good runner, the difficulty creeps up on you. The early stretch is relaxed, giving you time to settle into the rhythm, but the pace gradually quickens and the obstacles start arriving in trickier patterns. What felt comfortable a minute ago suddenly demands sharp reactions, and that is exactly when the game hooks you.
The best tip is to watch the road ahead rather than your character. Reading the next two or three obstacles in advance lets you plan your jumps instead of panicking. Short, controlled hops are safer than big desperate leaps, and staying calm after a near miss matters more than raw speed.
Anyone who enjoys quick score-chasing games will feel at home here. It runs right in the browser with nothing to install, works nicely on both desktop and mobile, and is perfect for filling a spare five minutes that somehow turns into thirty.
