Mini Jumps
Description
One button, one blob, and a whole lot of falling: Mini Jumps strips platforming down to its purest ingredient. You control a little orange blob whose only talent is jumping, and every level asks a simple question: can you bounce your way to the goal without dropping into the void?
There is no running, no double jumping, and no power up to bail you out. You time a jump, the blob hops, and gravity decides the rest. Platforms of different sizes and heights form the route through each stage, and reaching the goal flag is the only objective. Because your movement options are so limited, every decision comes down to timing and trajectory: when to hop early, when to wait for the right moment, and when to commit to a long leap across a gap.
The level design squeezes remarkable variety out of that single mechanic. Early stages let you stroll across wide, forgiving platforms, but the game steadily tightens the margins: smaller landing zones, bigger gaps, platforms placed at awkward heights that demand a perfectly timed hop, and sequences where one mistimed jump sends you back to the start of the section. The difficulty curve is gentle enough to keep you playing but stubborn enough to make each cleared level feel like a small victory.
The key skill is patience. Since the blob only jumps, rushing is the enemy; watch the layout, count the platforms between you and the goal, and treat each hop as its own decision rather than mashing through a section. For long gaps, jump from the very edge of a platform to squeeze out maximum distance, and on vertical climbs, pause on each landing to line up the next leap.
This is a lovely fit for players who enjoy minimalist platformers and precision challenges. It is easy to understand in five seconds, quietly demanding by level ten, and satisfying in that clean way only a one mechanic game can be.
