Red and Green Christmas
Description
Red and Green Christmas closes out the red and green series with a festive special that adds a brand-new wrinkle to the formula: portals. The two heroes are back for a holiday adventure, and this time saving your friend and reaching the exit door means leaping through teleporting gateways scattered across each wintry stage.
This is a cooperative-style platformer where you control both characters across the level. One moves with the WASD keys and the other with the arrow keys, and a double jump is available to clear taller obstacles and wider gaps. On mobile, touch controls handle the same job. The goal in every section is to guide the duo past the obstacles, use the portals to cross impossible distances, rescue your trapped friend, and get both characters safely to the door that completes the stage.
The portal mechanic is what sets this special episode apart from the earlier games in the series. Where previous entries were about careful platforming alone, the Christmas edition asks you to think about teleportation routes, entering a portal in one spot and emerging somewhere entirely different, sometimes mid-jump. Sections are built around chaining these portal hops with precise double jumps, and the difficulty builds steadily as the layouts demand tighter timing and smarter use of both characters together.
Success comes from moving one character at a time instead of trying to rush both through danger at once. Park one hero somewhere safe while you solve the platforming section for the other, and remember that the double jump's second leap can be saved for mid-air corrections rather than spent immediately. When a portal drops you somewhere unfamiliar, take a second to survey the new area before moving again.
Series fans get a proper festive finale here, and newcomers can jump straight in without playing the earlier games. It is a cozy, clever holiday platformer that rewards coordination, patience, and a little Christmas persistence.
