Description

Short Path Run 3d Fun is a racing game where the fastest route is the one you build yourself. You sprint along floating tracks against other runners, and instead of simply following the laid-out course, you scoop up floorboards scattered along the path and spend them to construct bridges across open water. A well-timed shortcut can leapfrog you from last place to first in seconds, which is exactly what makes every race feel like a small heist you are pulling on your opponents.

The controls are easy to learn. On mobile you drag your finger left or right to steer your runner, and on desktop you can use the mouse or the arrow keys to do the same. Your character runs forward automatically, so all of your attention goes into steering: collecting as many boards as possible, dodging around rivals, and aiming for the gaps where a bridge will save you the most distance. Reaching the finish line before everyone else is the only thing that counts.

With more than a hundred levels, the game has plenty of room to escalate. Tracks grow longer and more twisted, rival runners become more aggressive about grabbing boards and cutting their own shortcuts, and the safe routes get narrower. You also learn the economy of the game over time: boards are a limited resource, and spending ten of them on a bridge that saves five seconds is a winning trade, while building one that saves nothing is how races are lost.

The best players think a level ahead. Grab boards even when you do not need them yet, because a fat stack gives you options late in the race. Watch what your opponents are carrying, since a rival with empty hands cannot cut across the water. And do not be afraid to step off the main path briefly if it leads to a dense cluster of boards.

If you like competitive runners with a mischievous streak, Short Path Run 3d Fun delivers. It runs free in the browser, and its drag-to-steer controls feel natural on phones and tablets as well as with a mouse.
