Description

Deep space is full of loose change, and your little ship is broke. Starship turns that simple idea into a smooth arcade dodger where you weave between drifting planets, scoop up coins, and gamble on how far you can push a run before your luck runs out.

You steer by clicking and holding with the mouse or pressing and holding on a touch screen, guiding the ship around incoming planets while grabbing coins and upgrades along the way. You start with three lives, and when the last one is gone the game ends and you start over. There is one generous twist: every time you lose a life, a replacement appears somewhere in space, but you have to fly out and recover it yourself. Need a breather? Pause with the on-screen button or the SPACE key.

The upgrade system gives each run a nice sense of momentum. Magnets pull coins toward you from a distance, which means less risky detours into crowded lanes, while shields make you invulnerable for ten seconds, turning a moment of panic into a chance to plow straight through a dense cluster and hoover up everything inside it. Coins you bank feed into the shop, where you can buy new skins and kit out the coolest-looking ship in the galaxy.

A few habits separate long runs from short ones. Treat the shield as an offensive tool, not just insurance, and use its ten seconds to grab coin clusters you would normally skip. When a lost life reappears, only chase it if the path is reasonably clear; dying while recovering a life is the most frustrating way to end a run.

Casual players will enjoy the relaxed hold-to-steer controls, and completionists will chase every skin. It is a tidy, colorful loop of dodge, collect, upgrade, and repeat.
