Stick Merge
Description
Stick Merge takes two simple pleasures, combining items and target shooting, and fuses them into one surprisingly addictive loop. You merge basic weapons into stronger guns, then take your growing arsenal to the shooting range to blast waves of moving stick figures.
The gameplay splits neatly into two halves. On the merge board you buy and combine identical weapons, dragging one onto another to create the next tier of firearm. A pair of humble pistols becomes a beefier gun, two of those become something stronger still, and so on up a satisfying ladder of firepower. Once your loadout is ready, you head to the range where stick figure targets pop up and move across the scene, and your upgraded guns do the talking. Hit them before they escape or overwhelm you, earn your rewards, and reinvest everything into the next round of merging.
The progression curve is where the game sinks its hooks in. Early weapons feel weak, which makes every new tier feel like a genuine upgrade rather than a number going up. As you advance, the targets get faster, tougher, and more numerous, so keeping pace means constantly expanding your board, unlocking new weapon slots, and pushing toward the highest tiers of gear. Power-ups appear along the way to give your shooting extra punch, and figuring out when to save and when to spend becomes its own small strategy game.
A few habits will speed up your progress considerably. Merge aggressively rather than hoarding weak guns, since one strong weapon outperforms several feeble ones on the range. Keep your board organized so you can spot matching pairs instantly, and spend your earnings as soon as a meaningful upgrade is available instead of sitting on cash. On the shooting side, lead your shots slightly ahead of moving targets and focus on the fastest stick figures first.
Players who enjoy idle merge games, light shooters, or steady upgrade progression will feel right at home. It is easy to start and very hard to stop at just one more merge.
