How to play
Take turns placing stones on a 9x9 board. Connect five in a row — horizontal, vertical, or diagonal — to win. Heuristic AI:
- Beginner: Looks only at its own connections; won't actively block you.
- Medium: Evaluates both offense and defense; 70% optimal play.
- Challenge: 2-ply search + threat evaluation; will force you into open-threes.
About 9x9
9x9 is tighter than standard 15x15, which magnifies first-mover advantage. So the AI always opens center. You have four moves to break its center control.
